Quilt Finishing Services

Love piecing but the thought of quilting your lovely leaves you flat? Get that pile of UFOs (Unfinished Objects) completed by sending your quilt tops to Quilted Lovelies. I use a longarm quilter and automated software to make your quilt beautiful. I offer quilting and binding, using your backing. Prices include batting.

If you want me to provide the backing, contact me for a price. I use 108" wide cotton fabric for backing so there will be no seams on the backs of most quilts. The batting I use is Pellon 80/20, low loft. It provides warmth without bulk. If you want to use my fabric for backing and/or binding, I will choose a color that complements your quilt top. Unless you tell me otherwise, I'll also use a complementary thread color.​ For those wanting binding services, the price includes labor and fabric. Also, please trim your quilt to its final size. If you want your binding hand sewn to the quilt, contact me for pricing.

Before you send your top to me, please do the following: Make sure your top is clean and pressed; pins or basting threads removed. Square-up and trim quilt top to its final size. If you're sending it in, measure and press backing fabric — it should measure 2"-4" larger than your top on all sides.  If you're sending in batting, it should be 2"-4" larger than the top on all sides. If you're sending in binding fabric, send in 1/2 yard to a yard depending on the size of the quilt.

​I use a Grace Continuum longarm with a Juki sewing machine, along with Grace's automated software. It can accommodate a baby through a king size quilt.​ I'll keep in touch throughout the process, so you won't have to wonder or worry about your quilt. Any special requests? Simply contact me!
